I just wanted to thank you again for all the kind words you spoke to my mom, Lee Porter. It has been almost 10 months since her passing and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you for reaching out to her. She thought the world of you and you made her smile. She spoke of you often and listened to your tapes over and over. The last few years of her life were enriched by your ministry. Our family will return this year for our 52nd family reunion, the first one my mom will miss. I know she is having her first reunion with Jesus, which gives us all hope. We plan to be at one of your performances while we are there. It will help us to remember sweet memories of our mother. Once again, thank you for all you do to touch the lives of so many. We were at Katie Bell's tonight in Spanish Springs (5/16/10) and really enjoyed your performance. We were the three ladies screaming upstairs in the Cattle Baron and came downstairs for the last half hour. Thank you so much for a great show and for coming over to our table to say goodbye! I had never heard of you until today when my Mom called. It took a week, but she finally told me the story of requesting a song from you dedicated to my son, Mason, on his first day in Marine Boot Camp in Parris Island, SC. I thank you for the song, the sentiment and the spiritual support your song garnered during that performance. We lived in the Villages for about
4 yrs until 2006, when we moved bacek to St Louis, MO. I belonged to St Pauls and loved listening to you every Sunday. I also enjoyed seeing you entertain at various places around the Villages. I really miss everyone and have not found such and uplifting and inspiring church.
